Donetsk, the catalyst for war? US election?

Post by Kurieuo »

Ukraine sent lots of tanks a couple weeks ago to border of Donetsk, Western media only reports on Russia moving their forces in to apparently "invading" Ukraine. Skirmishes have now happened, I was hoping that the US election would happen before things escalated.

I seriously think Trump is the only one who can avert the world descending into war. But, if war all breaks out, then what... the US presidential elections still go ahead right?

If war breaks out over there, why wouldn't the elections still take place over here? There are wars going on literally all the time.

And I tend to agree with you about trump being the candidate who would actually avoid war.

If Hillary became president, and let's say we have another Pearl Harbor. Would she refuse to send help to those attacked, and just blame it on a YouTube video?

We can only hope that people dig up enough dirt on her before the election, and that her worshippers open their eyes.

This lady is a danger to America, and the rest of the world.

If Russia reacts, and they are and will, then what should NATO do?
What if Russia decides, enough, we're just going to take all of Ukraine? Obama set in place apparently neo-nazi leaders, who are now "terrorising" (so Putin calls it), Putin seems ready to just topple it all full force.

Europe would be in uproar and want NATO, the US, to intervene.
NATO just had Turkey basically turn its back on it, joint intelligence now with Russia.
So then Europe would look to the US to directly intervene.

Their "defense system" which the US told Putin was just about "job creation" :P would come in, perhaps. Russia would want to ensure it never came into play, and so probably multiple strikes would be made. And then, NATO sending ships, well Russia has that covered with the military missile units they're moving into position.

Now, there are obviously a few "dominoes" there, but Ukraine could easily be the trigger for much more.
In any case, I believe the US still have presidential elections, even during world wars. But, if at war with Russia, then perhaps as a point of "national security", well it wouldn't be good for Trump. At least, the more everyone considers Russia the enemy, the more Trump will be seen as unelectable.

The US should stay out of it. Let the EU handle it.

We don't need to inject ourselves into every war.

You'd think we would've learned from Vietnam.

This kind of intervention mindset of the US, makes me think Ron and Rand Paul are on to something. We just need to stop intervening in everybody else's business. But maybe when world affairs affect the pockets of the rich bureaucrats, they need to butt in.

Rand Paul with Hillary lying to his questioning within congress several years ago about weapons transfers, via Turkey into Syria... to ISIS and other enemies. 95% were wahhabists (i.e., blag flag "ISIS" etc), I believe your Pentagon reported, as did German intelligence, "95% of the Syrian rebels come from abroad and are likely to be members of al Qaeda."

Trump may he been half sarcastic when he started calling Obama and Hillary the founder and co-founder of ISIS, but it's kind of looking really bad, more like the truth. Hillary again is above the law, lying to congress, and not being prosecuted for her past lies; Rand Paul is right and I believe quite middle ground in his views compared to conspiricists out there.

If the US never messed in Iraq, Libya, in Syria, and even Turkey (a main reason things are now soured with Turkey I believe and they're now best buds with Russia), then all these Christians and other religious and even Muslim sects and the like in Iraq and the like being beheaded and what-have-you... well the traction of "ISIS" and even this renewed hatred in the world for Islam may have never happened. The irony there on Obama who won't say "radical Islam". Not to mention the many US and allied soldiers lost... it's just criminal and comes down to the leaders of the country.

It's not just the US but it's allies like Australia too, and European states, Japan, etc who just go all in today without question. :(

Actually the world is so safe now, Obama says so, and queen Hilary wins the prez so no worry all cured by a reset button. After all the MARINES TURN TO GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS TEAMS FOR RECRUITS.

No worry they US Military is in top fighting form - we have Obama Care so who cares as long as we get out Hilary phones and privet email servers too!
