Meh, whatever. If there are aggressive, super-advanced spacefaring aliens in our vicinity then they'll find us sooner or later, at which point I guess we're screwed. I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Between global warming, super volcanoes, nuclear weapons, super bacteria, space rocks, and so forth we'll probably be dust long before the Klingon Armada shows up.

Wouldn't think aliens would want to come slumming on earth - that is, IF they exist, and IF they are so advanced, they could tell from afar this is no planetary Club Med. Of course, maybe the only aliens are like slugs and worms?
