We touched on this briefly in another topic. What is your most trusted news and information source? Also, which medium do you prefer? Internet, newspaper, magazines, messenger-bird, other? And possibly a short explanation why
This thread can also be viewed as a way to gauge the community. Many experts call what we watch and view as "media consumption". This goes back to the old phrase, "You are what you eat". I think it will be interesting to see what kinds of people on here like what kinds of news media.
Also, be honest and be deferential. I would rather not see "How can you watch MSNBC?" and "Fox news more like Faux news", but I'm afraid that can't be helped. So as the rule goes, be civil. But back up your statements if you don't like somebody else's news source, all else I ask.

realclearpolitics.com
news.google.com
yahoo.com
I also follow Scott Adam's blog at dilbert.com. Every once in awhile I'll check out realclearreligion.org and realclearmarkets.com, but I typically get everything I need from the first three. I also am sure to check the video section from RCP, where I get a good mixture of Fox, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, Bill Maher, and others. The only radio I listen to is NPR.
I don't get any news from Twitter, Facebook, or other "social media."
As far as why . . . because I don't the time or interest to flip through physical newspapers, because it's free, because I can bookmark stories and go back to them and quote from them easily that way, and because the sources tend to be pretty diverse. Most of what I get comes from mainstream media outlets, but there is a helpful smattering of blog posts from time to time. I don't watch any TV . . . I don't even have cable. The internet is pretty much the only way I get info on the rest of the world.

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.Proinsias wrote:I don't think you are hearing me. Preference for ice cream is a moral issue

Drudge Report. I check this regularly because he is an alternative news source to the normal biased liberal news media.
Breitbart News. This is also an alternative source for news you won't get in the normal news media.
I like to listen to conservative talk radio although I don't listen to it as much as I used to,so I've narrowed it down to only a few I listen to. I like Michael Savage the best,I actually have the radio on now and am listening to the Savage Nation.I listen to Sean Hannity's radio show and sometimes Rush Limbaugh.I like Laura Ingraham's radio show too.
Info Wars on youtube and their web-sight because they directly take on globalism and know all about it. They get a bad rap from people who say they are conspiracy theorists and they do get into them sometimes but because of this election they focus more on this race and less on conspiracy theories and are very informative about what's going on when it comes to this race. They are more libertarian than conservative.
YouTube I can find live streams, etc on it.
