The History of Jesus' Traditional Burial Site

Post by Philip »

Very interesting! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ ... leted.html

Interesting that the traditional crucifixion site is so close to the traditional tomb site. Also interesting, is that it was once outside of the city, but later, inside it. But it makes sense that the sites would have remained in memory - as the events surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection were a major and widely known deal at the time. It's not a huge area, so the sons and grandsons who followed would have well known the original locations - especially amongst local believers.
