Like it or not they are surprisingly well read when it came to that article. Many secular sources agree on the part about DNA similarity and possibility (fact) of interbreeding. Then their anatomical structure is pretty close to us though their heads were the most different.

Are you asking about bones being dated from 300 years ago, or bones that show the Neanderthal was 300 years old at the time of death?
