Evidence for God from Science

A preacher I know got this idea from the Bible, like when the Judge Deborah didn't go into the front lines though men did.
I don't see where the bible is supporting this idea, but for the majority of history-especially in the Old World but elsewhere too-men were far more likely to die in a war because they had to fight. Women and children didn't get off easy either.

Also, what if a man in the family gets bad off and can't take care of his family? This follows a similar principle, can't strong women serve as well if they want to or have to?

That's what basic training does. They break the soul, then rebuild it into a mean, lean, fighting machine.

That's what basic training does. They break the soul, then rebuild it into a mean, lean, fighting machine.

Hence why I'm scared of boot camp, ESPECIALLY if I have to go to the MARINES like a half sis of mine did. Gets to serve the country and have good benefits too though.

Nobody should be in the military if they are a weak point that can get others killed.

Read Deuteronomy 20.

Nobody should be in the military. That's it. Jesus spoke of love, love for the enemies aswell. Shooting them, killing them, is not part of it.

But in this world, one needs self defense. Taken to nation-wide (hehe) that includes the military. It's a brutal thing, and sad yes that it has to happen.

In Luke 22:35-38 Jesus is instructing His followers of what to take in preparation for their journeys through often-dangerous areas - and so He tells them to take a sword with them. Not only that, He deems His advice so important that He says if they don't have a sword then they should even sell their cloak to buy one. God does not expect us to not defend ourselves from dangerous, aggressive people. And the modern equivalent of a sword is a gun!
