What does it mean to do our part in the Great Commission? What does Scripture say as opposed to what many Christians believe?

So, here is the thing:
Preaching Christ NOW can NOT be done the same as THEN.
The bible, scripture, can only be use dot preach to those that view it with authority ( no skeptic does).
Salvation has to be accepted ( that one needs to be saved) before the WAY to salvation even matters.
People don't think they need to be saved from anything.

Paul: People don't think they need to be saved from anything.
Typically true - but some level of that hasn't changed since Jesus' day - people didn't understand the need to be "born again."

The only thing many seem to think we need saving from is from Trump's continued presidency.

I preach the Gospel by proxy, by giving to Christian ministries operating overseas. Helping Christians in dangerous countries preach the Gospel is fine by me. God gives some people courage, to others he gives the gift of gab and to yet others, a good disposable income. These and any other gifts may be used in preaching the Gospel.

Here is how I 'spread' the message:
I try to be a good Christian. I try to live in faith. Be patient, gracious, wise, calm, forgiving, honor Sundays, honor God.
We are to be light and salt in this world.
I wear my little golden cross on my neck (replaced heart on my neck from my first love and husband since he passed away.)
And I am not ashamed among people of being a Christian. I do not hide it.
So you live in the world with personal qualities Our Father helps us to have and let people wonder: How is she doing that? How is she going through all that hard times and still being such nice, calm, wise, loving person?

I think it may have been St.Francis that said:
A christian must spread the Gospel of the Lord by kindness, love, devotion, by taking care of those in need and by living by the Word of God and, IF they have to, they can even use words !
His point being to lead by example in actions first and words second.
