So, what, exactly, is APOLOGETICS?

I thought I'd post this ( https://www.bethinking.org/apologetics/ ... pologetics ) explaining what Christian apologetics is all about. It is NOT to apologize, per what the term suggests, but is instead a discipline that is a defense of the Christian faith and the Bible to the doubts and false beliefs often surrounding them.
And if anyone would like, post some of what you feel are some important books in this field.
