I thought it was an interesting slide, wanted to share, not quite sure what to think about it yet. Quote from the slide

"The truth is, both are correct. Genesis is literally true and the universe is billions of years old."

If I’m not mistaken, Schroeder’s Creation stance was disproven approximately 6 literal days after The Geocentric Model was tossed aside. And roughly one day after the Flat Earth Theory was shown to be false.

The powerpoint was a bit complicated to get through - but then again, astrophysics is not intended to be simple - but it seems viable. It provides a day-age model, it uses tenable relativistic principles, and it relies on Scripture, most importantly. I find it worthy of attention.

Perhaps it was Moses who originated the 6/7 Day Creation Story. He chose 7 days based on the lunar cycle of 4 primary phases of ~7.4 days each thus 7-day weeks and 4 weeks in a 'mOOnth'. Moses didn't know modern science and even if GOD or extraterrestrials had taught him about the BIG Bang-Bit Bang/Supermassive White Hole-Quantum Tunneling Wormhole 13.77 billion-years-ago, he wouldn't understand it nor would anyone else back then. Few understand it now. It's Seal #1a of the "7 Seals" revealed as 'Beyond Einstein Theories'.
