'Rainbow Discovery' is a short series of Bible studies especially written for people interested in discovering Jesus – who he is and why he came. Free, printable PDF files will be linked here. Just print them out on standard size paper (A4 or Letter) then come back to discuss.
There is also a complementary book of
'Rainbow Bible Readings'. It may be downloaded, printed, and folded into an easy reference booklet. Use A4 paper back-to-back, then fold into an easy reference booklet for completing the questions.

Lets go! Study one is called,
‘Jesus – the key to understanding.’
On the first page is a stunning picture of Lake Matheson (NZ) This glacial lake is so reflective that, if you turn the picture over, it’s hard to tell the difference. Only a simple picture, but it illustrates the opening words from the Bible’s book of Hebrews: -
The Son shows exactly what God is like.
Fill in the missing words from Hebrews 1:1-3 and John 14:8-9

My ‘Rainbow’ series has 6 parts and study 2 will be ‘Who actually is Jesus Christ?’ Study 1 concludes by emphasizing, the life and teaching of Jesus is found in the Bible. It might seem to be laboring an obvious fact, but have you noticed how in old evangelistic campaigns, thousands of people found Jesus after a good half-hour sermon about who he is, whereas in modern times we spend a little longer establishing the basics? That’s because fewer are raised in Christian homes and less to Sunday school. There are many who haven’t even read the good news.
I think that in today’s generation we need to start where Luke started. Eye witnesses. The gospels were not legends, but an accurate historical record about Jesus.
