How very strange, is it not, to realize just how universally obsessed major, non-Christian world religions are with Jesus? Islam, Judaism and Hinduism all weigh in with assertions about Christ. In fact, most of them have only positive things to say about Him. But why would they even care? In fact, the one thing that unites many religions and cults - at least when it comes to Jesus - is that they ALL insist He is not God, yet in direct contradiction to the New Testament which says He is (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?s ... ersion=ESV). And key false religions like Islam and Mormonism have even attached their own prophets' teachings to the Old Testament, which made them far easier to gain credibility and belief. Lies, whether about spiritual matters or other things are always more effective when attached to some established truths.
