J. Warner Wallace has received substantial attention on a variety of high-profile homicide cases. His law enforcement career has also included assignments involving SWAT, gang detail, and cold-case analysis. Wallace was long and daily involved with obtaining, dissecting and discerning the actual truth vs. eye-witness testimonies concerning homicides and crimes, and assessing statements given by a wide array of criminals and their associates. An atheist into his mid-30s, at some point, Warner thought it might be interesting to apply his professional investigative skills and analysis to the eyewitness accounts and truth claims found in the Gospels and New Testament, as they make many astounding claims about the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus. He initially assumed much of it was simply just made-up, religious bunk, and easy to expose as pure fiction! But as he dug deep into the Gospel accounts and stories, what he found and realized about them absolutely stunned him, as they were not anything like he had expected, whatsoever!
