Updated: MOST-viewed G&S post EVER - with 10.5 million views (Atheist beliefs in the supernatural)
About five years ago, I submitted perhaps the most-viewed post in the entire history of GodandScience.org (now up to nearly 10.5 million views!). It is titled, Many atheists DO believe in the Supernatural. Academics from several universities (University of Kent, St. Mary's in London, Queen's University in Belfast, and Coventry University) interviewed atheists and agnostics in six countries around the world (Brazil, China, Denmark, Japan, the UK, and the United States) with detailed questions about their unbelief in God (or in a god or gods). The link has now been updated so that the research information can now be viewed again - as the initial link had been deleted. The study's results are very interesting, in that, there is a significant range of nuances of beliefs, within those self-identifying as being either an atheist or agnostic - surprisingly, including even, supernatural beliefs. See the linked research below.
