Women in the role of Pastors - What does the Bible say?

The question over what specific roles women are to fulfill in serving Christ's Church is one of immense debate across Christian churches around the world. And a lot of passion and often intense arguments erupt over what individual Christians think about the issue. People often debate the issue per modern perspectives and cultural viewpoints. One thing is certain, IF we accept that God inspired HIS scriptures, prophets and apostles, and guided the assemblage of the Bible, then we should WANT to know and study GOD'S perspective on this issue. While it's not a salvation issue, it is a question of how God has instructed the structure and functioning of His Church. And it should be unquestionable that He perfectly knows how it should best function for maximum effectiveness per the mission He gave it, for spreading of the Gospel to all humankind. Everyone should prayerfully study God's Word and decide for themselves what is right, while ultimately basing it upon what the Bible reveals to us about this - or ANY issue.

Here, Dr. Frank Turek addresses some of the basic issues about women in the Church: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iisilJB7lc

And here is apologist Mike Wingers' exhaustive Biblical analysis relating all of the relevant passages in the Bible concerning the issue:
