Does carbon dating disprove the Bible concerning Creation?

Many people have rejected the Genesis Creation account asserting it to be scientifically unsupportable. And yet, that is reading it from the perspective of literalness. Yet, God NEVER says in Scripture how LONG the Creation days were. Note, taken literally, Genesis 1 notes that the earth is ALREADY in existence when the first creation day begins. In fact, taken LITERALLY, it also notes that when God said "Let there be light," this light could not have been referencing of the sun - because it reveals that the sun and the moon weren't created before the 4th creation day. As well, it says plants and vegetation were created the day before, on the 3rd day. So, you've got some weird things in play, if one takes Genesis 1 literally. You've got the earth existing and then plants before there is even a sun or moon. And how could the first three creation days have been literal 24-hour ones if the sun didn't yet exist? Lastly, is the sequence of the creation days even mean to address scientific understandings to the new nation of Israel, and ancient people living in a pre-scientific age, but yet that just emerged from a long captivity in Egypt, in which it absorbed many ancient Mesopotamian / Egyptian creation myths? Some things to think about as we see Dr. Frank Turek address the topic in this most-interesting, short video:
