Aren't they the ones who live and die by the Sabbath - the original Sabbath as they claim? So they worship and rest of Saturday, being that Sunday is the actual true start of the week. They don't think worship counts if it's done on Saturday, I think.

Though, the above site doesn't go that far...

perhaps dancing is too sexual.

It's the vertical expression of a horizontal desire to some people....to me, though....it's what I must do when the girl tells me to over and over.

You managed to get a girl to ask you to dance?

No, actually, several girls (around 15 so far) have made me dance with them.
I don't even have to ask...which is fortunate...since my self-esteem has basically been run over with a steam roller when it comes to girls.
WHY OFF TOPIC SO MUCH

I copied this from the SDA Church Manual:
Another form of amusement that has an evil influence is social dancing. "The amusement of dancing, as conducted at the present day, is a school of depravity, a fearful curse to society." - Messages to Young People, p. 399. (See 2 Cor. 6:15-18; 1 John 2:15-17; James 4:4; 2 Tim. 2:19-22; Eph. 5:8-11; Col. 3:5-10.)

SDAs follow a false (dead) prophet, Ellen G. White. Most of these "rules" come from her writings.

Most are in the Old Testament. However, Jesus used dancing as a metaphor to represent a joyful response to the gospel:
Mat 11:17 We played the flute for you, but you didn't dance; we sang a lament, but you didn't mourn!
I see the flute as the Good News and the lament as the call to repentence. However, these towns neither rejoiced (danced) over hearing the gospel, nor responded to the call to repentence. (Also in Luke 7)
In Luke 15, there is music and dancing when the prodigal son returns home to his father.
Here are some OT passages:
Exodus 15:18-21
2 Samuel 6, where David dances with all his might before the Lord. (It's also recorded in 1 Chronicles 15)
Psalm 30:11-12
Psalm 149 --
Psa 149:2 Let Israel celebrate its Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King.
Psa 149:3 Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and lyre.
Psa 149:4 For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the humble with salvation.
Psalm 150 --
Psa 150:4 Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with flute and strings.
Psa 150:5 Praise Him with resounding cymbals; praise Him with clashing cymbals.
Psa 150:6 Let everything that breathes praise the LORD. Hallelujah!
Jeremiah 31:4

Lots of conservative Protestants and Catholics don't dance. SDAs may believe in a different concept of the afterlife compared to orthodox Christians, but they are still considered Christians, so why are you listing them under "aberrant Christianity"?

Because they follow a false prophet who contradicts the innerant word of God (the bible).

But they don't consider her works as divine, and they only disagree with the afterlife concept, not the rest of the Bible.
