Ten Commandments Monuments
Because of the new recent orders for the Ten Commandments Monuments to be taken down, what does this mean for us Christians? It seems like the court system is secular, the secular/atheist society is rejoicing over this and everytime something religious is taken down. What can Christians do? This country was founded on religion and now apparantly it's okay for atheists to win and take down everything religious? I don't think so, but it's happaning. Is this the coming end of the Bible era as we know it? EVERYTHING will be secular now?

Well the ten commandments are the letter of the old covenant which was done away after Christ brought in the new. Perhaps they should be replaced with instead two which encompass them all—Love God, and love each other.

Right, but the Ten Commandments still stands as the fruit of our religion and SHOULD stay up as part of our countries history.Kurieuo wrote:Well the ten commandments are the old covenant which was done away after Christ brought in the new. Interesting...something supposedly done away with...and they (Christians in general) are fighting mad about the taking down of the "old"...HelpMeGod wrote:Right, but the Ten Commandments still stands as the fruit of our religion and SHOULD stay up as part of our countries history.Kurieuo wrote:Well the ten commandments are the old covenant which was done away after Christ brought in the new. And the new one...to replace them with the two "new"? That's even more interesting. 10 done away and two replace...yet...oh never mind.
Quite humorous to me.

The Supreme Court ruled that religious monuments can be displayed on public land but not in courtrooms.HelpMeGod wrote:Because of the new recent orders for the Ten Commandments Monuments to be taken down, what does this mean for us Christians?
